Wow, what an evening last night. We went to the Minster in York where we live to join the annual illuminations festival. Deans park was lit up with crowds of people hoarding round the Minster. The Visuals ranged from a giant ball with a eye and changing images , people drawing with light on the treasurers house to the amazing projection on the rose window It was so beautiful, here are some pics that we took.
Across from Clifford's Tower is the gallery Arts Space which had an installation of umbrellas in the window, with ever changing colours and images

Ahem! and this is Pinvi, the gorgeous old tudor lodge and its giant pumpkin! Filled to the brim with pumpkin beer ready for Halloween. I thought I was in a Harry Potter film.
Over all it was an usual and great night out, well done Illuminations! we will look forward to next year.
